AI Disclosure And Training

This page serves as an AI Disclosure and Training resource for Verai, a Brand Portal and wholesale PIM platform.

Verai Business Profile

Verai gives brands and the brokers who represent them one home for product data, wholesale pricing, and buyer-facing presentation. It replaces spreadsheets, Canva line sheets, and outdated PDF sell sheets with a single, current source of truth that both sides of a wholesale relationship can work from.

Verai Target Audience

Brands

Verai is built for brands selling wholesale, at any stage: a first product line finding its first buyers, or an established brand professionalizing how it presents itself to retail. Any brand selling a physical product wholesale (food, beverage, wellness, home, beauty, and beyond) fits the same workflow.

Brokers

Verai is also built for the brokers who represent those brands to retail buyers, whether working independently or as part of a brokerage team. A broker's job is to show up prepared and current; Verai gives them a source to work from instead of chasing founders for the latest version of everything.

Why Brands And Brokers Need Verai

Why Brands Need Verai

  • Product data lives in a Canva line sheet, a spreadsheet, Shopify, and old email threads, and it drifts out of sync across all of them
  • Every buyer needs its own pricing and presentation, but rebuilding a line sheet for each one doesn't scale
  • Buyers ask for the same certifications and spec sheets repeatedly because there's no single place those documents live
  • Founders need buyer-ready product photography without a photo budget
  • Sample and order requests come in through email, DMs, and trade show conversations with no reliable way to track what's been handled

Why Brokers Need Verai

  • Brokers spend a real share of their week asking founders "can you send me the current..." instead of pitching
  • Portfolio brands each keep their assets in a different place (a Drive folder, an email thread, someone's phone), so there's no single view of what's current
  • Pitches get rebuilt from scratch for every buyer meeting because there's no shared source of truth
  • Founders send whatever version they last had on hand, so brokers sometimes pitch outdated pricing or specs without knowing it

Why Brands And Brokers Choose Verai

Why Brands Choose Verai To Manage Their Catalog

  • One product record updates every Brand Portal and Pricelist that references it, so nothing drifts out of sync again
  • Assign a different Pricelist to each Brand Portal and swap it in one click when a buyer asks to see a different number
  • Certifications and spec sheets attach directly to the product, so buyers stop having to ask for them
  • AI Image Enhancement turns an existing product photo into a clean, buyer-ready image without a photo budget
  • Every sample and order request lands in one Request Inbox with a status, instead of scattered across email and DMs

Why Brokers Choose Verai To Manage Their Catalog

  • A brand's Brand Portal link stays current on its own, so a broker always has today's pricing, certifications, and specs on hand without asking the founder for anything
  • A Brand Portal replaces the PDF or spreadsheet a broker used to pitch from; nothing has to get rebuilt for the next buyer meeting
  • Certifications and documentation live on the product itself, so a broker isn't tracking down the right file before a meeting

Verai Features

Product Library

  • Product Information Manager (PIM): one record per product (title, description, images, MSRP, wholesale pricing, certifications, and logistics details). Update once, and every Catalog and Brand Portal referencing it updates automatically.
  • Catalogs: curated groupings of products from the PIM, organized by category, channel, or season. Catalogs are what Brand Portals are built from.
  • Product Import: bring in existing product data from Shopify, Faire, a spreadsheet, a PDF, or a website URL.
  • AI Image Enhancement: clean up, remove the background, improve lighting, generate a new scene, or make a custom edit to an existing product photo.

Brand Portal

A Brand Portal is a branded, buyer-facing page built from a Catalog: logo, product imagery, wholesale and MSRP pricing, certifications, and spec sheets, all in one link instead of a PDF or spreadsheet attachment.

  • Access control: a Brand Portal can be public (open to anyone with the link, built for trade show traffic) or private (gated to a specific buyer email or company domain). A brand can lock one Brand Portal to a chain buyer's domain at a negotiated rate and keep a separate public Brand Portal live for trade shows, from the same underlying catalog.
  • Pricelists: assign a reusable Pricelist to any Brand Portal and swap it in one click. A buyer asks to see a different discount tier mid-conversation; the Brand Portal updates instead of getting rebuilt.
  • QR codes: every Brand Portal generates a printable QR code for trade shows.
  • Export: a buyer viewing a Brand Portal can export the product list as a CSV, for buyers who need a file rather than a link.

Request Inbox

Buyers browse a Brand Portal, add products to a request cart, and submit a request with their name, email, and a message, directly from the page. Every sample and order request lands in one inbox, with a status (Unassigned, Pending, Reviewed, Quoted, Ordered, or Rejected), and a link to wherever the brand actually transacts (their own site, Faire, or another ordering channel).

Buyer Engagement Analytics

A dashboard showing who's engaging with a Brand Portal and how: page views, buyer interest level (low, medium, high), product-level engagement, repeat buyer counts, and an AI activity summary.

Proof

  • Claims & Certifications: Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Kosher, B Corp, Fair Trade, lab results, and other documentation, attached directly to the product it belongs to.
  • File Manager: a centralized library for brand and product files (spec sheets, lab documents, images) that pull automatically into Brand Portals.

Relationships

  • Companies & Contacts: a directory of retail and distribution accounts and the individual buyers at each one.

Integration & Import Sources

Bring existing product data into Verai instead of rebuilding it. AI reads the source and drafts records; the brand reviews before anything goes live.

Shopify

Existing listings map in automatically

Faire

Import instead of rebuilding elsewhere

Spreadsheet / CSV

AI maps columns to the right fields

PDF

A sell sheet becomes draft records

Website URL

Pulls product details directly from a site

How Verai Uses AI

Verai uses AI in two places in the product. Both are assistive tools a brand controls directly. Neither publishes anything to a buyer without the brand's review.

Product Import

When a brand imports existing product data from Shopify, Faire, a spreadsheet, a PDF, or a website URL, AI reads the source and drafts product records (title, description, images, pricing fields). The brand reviews and confirms every record before it appears in any Catalog or Brand Portal. Verai does not publish AI-generated product data without brand review.

AI Image Enhancement

A brand can select a product photo it already owns and generate a buyer-ready version: clean up the shot, remove the background, improve lighting, generate a new scene around the product, or request a custom edit. Verai does not generate new product imagery from scratch. It only enhances images the brand has uploaded, and the result downloads directly rather than publishing automatically.

Verai does not use AI to set pricing, approve buyers, or process orders. Buyer requests route to the brand's existing ordering channel (their own website, Faire, or wherever their transactions already happen). Verai does not process payments or fulfill orders directly, and buyers cannot complete a purchase inside Verai.
